Coach Approach

Struggling with loss, humiliation, loneliness and emotional exhaustion, my addictions kept driving to fill what I call my “black hole.”  I turned to my addiction to feel something other than numbness, shame and despair.  My friend, the one who stuck with me through it all, gave me validation, acceptance and unconditional love – but never told me what to do – even when I hit rock bottom.  She BELIEVED in me.  It took several years into Recovery before I realized the impact that one person could have on another persons life journey.  My experiences with Living Addiction, Substance Use, Mental Health Challenges and long-term recovery led me here – to become a Recovery Coach.  My addicted brain began in my early teens in the form of an eating disorder.....
